Differences

• Regular missions must be activated. This can be done during a running game. Daily missions automatically activate every day.
• Other players can shoot animals in regular missions and let you harvest the animal for the mission completion. This does not work in daily missions.
• All players have the same regular missions. Daily missions are random and different from player to player.

Description

Many missions are available for specific animals, reserves or weapons. The missions are an additional motivation boost and are fun to complete. Every mission pack usually starts easy and gets more difficult towards the end. The mission packs below are available permanently. The hunter can earn Gm$ by completing missions.

Event related missions can also become available for a short time, e.g. a mission was available with the release of Dogs. Such event driven missions also award trophies in addition to the Gm$. Once these missions disappear they can no longer be activated.

Activating Missions

To activate a mission go to MISSIONS. For a full walk-through on how to activate missions see Activating Missions. Missions can be activated while you are playing the game. Missions cannot be deactivated.

Resetting Missions

The missions can only be completed once. If you wish to repeat them, you can reset all missions. The according service must be purchased in the store as you will again earn the Gm$ for all completed missions.

Help with Missions

If you need help with any of these missions, just ask for help in the Forum. You can also find hints to some of the missions on this page. All travel missions for example show maps with the locations to go to.

Important note: You can complete missions with animals that are shot by other players. If you do not own a certain weapon required for a mission, ask someone to shoot the animal for you in multiplayer mode and let you join the game and harvest the animal.

Whitetail Deer Missions

Track a Whitetail Deer	Locate 3 Whitetail Deer tracks from the same animal.	100	All you need to do is find three tracks from the same Whitetail Deer. Once you find one track, just follow the clues on your HunterMate, and the other two tracks should be fairly easy to find.
Spot a Whitetail Deer	Spot a Whitetail Deer.	100	Find a Whitetail Deer and look at it through your Binoculars or rifle scope. Wait until an outline appears around the deer. An animal info box will appear in the upper right corner and you have successfully spotted the deer.
Harvest a Whitetail Deer	Harvest a Whitetail Deer.	100
Take a 8pt Whitetail Deer	Harvest a Whitetail Deer buck with at least 8 typical points.	200	8 points means that there are at least 4 points on each side.

The Long Shot	Take a Whitetail Deer buck with at least 8 typical points from 115m (approx. 377ft.) or more.	600	To make a shoot from this distance, try hunting some of the large meadows, or straight roads that offer a long view.

The Spotter, Pt. 1	Spot a Whitetail Deer buck from a Hunting Tower. Spot a Whitetail Deer doe from a Hunting Tower.	800	The middle tower of Logger's Point can be a good place to spot these deer.
The Spotter, Pt. 2	Harvest a Whitetail Deer from a Hunting Tower.	800	Since this mission is attached to the previous mission, it should be pretty simple to shoot one of the Whitetail Deer that you have spotted in the herd from your tower. Make sure to activate the mission before harvesting one of the deer.
Big Rack	Harvest a Whitetail Deer with at least 12 typical points.	1000	Find and shoot a Whitetail Deer with at least 12 points. This means that there are at least 6 points on each side.
Big Score	Harvest a male Whitetail Deer with a score of 150 or more.	1300	This will usually require 12 points and up to complete.
Big Rack, up close!	Harvest a Whitetail Deer buck with at least 12 typical points using a Shotgun with Buckshot ammo.	1600	Lure the buck towards you and shoot it from within 20-30m.

Points o'Plenty	Harvest a Mule Deer buck with at least 10 typical points.	800	10 points means the buck has at least 5 points on each side of its rack. Sometimes a 10 point buck is a monster, so it may be hard to shoot, but there are some fairly small bucks that don't spook as easily, which are also 10 pointers.
Concerto	Identify a call from a Mule Deer buck. Identify a call from a Mule Deer doe.	1000
Chasin Tail	Find the tracks from three different Mule Deer within a span of 5 min.	1200	All you have to do is find three different tracks from three different Mule Deer within 5 minutes. This is easiest if you follow tracks of a herd.

It is best to start early in the day. As you can see on the animal map for blacktail deer at Redfeather Falls, they predominantly roam the north of the map. Consider running north, or starting at a tent in the north, or fast traveling to the campsite in the north. If you choose to use guns, you will only be able to take out one or two deer for each herd you find. The others will flee and you will have to track them down again or move on hoping for other herds or single roamers. It is a better choice to use a silent weapon, e.g. a bow or crossbow. If you manage to drop them on the spot, you can take multiple animals at a time. Even if a shot is bad and the rest of the bunch spooks, at least you are not spooking other animals in the vicinity with gunfire.

Road Kill (Single Player)	Track down and harvest the trespassing male Moose, last seen on the road, just east of the bridge (X: -10.430 Y: -2.513).	600	The moose spawns at the given coordinates (see map) and moves around like any animal. The mission can be completed easier when placing a tent near these coordinates and get to the location as quickly as possible.
Campers Delight	Harvest a Moose Bull with at least 18 typical points from a Treestand, Blind, Tripod Stand or Tower.	800
Trespasser	Kill a male Moose anywhere on the Trapper's Rest road.	1000	The Trapper's Rest Road reaches from the Trapper's Rest Lodge to the eastern border of Redfeather Falls.
