Description
- During the game you can fast travel to a lodge, tent or campsite.
- Campsites can be found in the reserves of Whitehart Island, Logger's Point, Settler Creeks and Redfeather Falls. They are marked with camp fire icons.
- Fast traveling costs 1 unit of Camping Supplies for every 1km (about 3281ft; 0.6 miles), except to lodges which is free.
- After each fast travel, you need to wait for 30 real time minutes until you can fast travel again.
Usage
- Enter your in-game map and click on one of these locations.
- You will be asked to confirm if you want to fast travel. Click Yes.
- You will be notified if you do not have enough Camping Supplies with you to get to the desired location.
- It is recommended to always have some camping supplies with you, if inventory space permits.
Notes
The fast traveling system is also used in these cases:
- When you are hurt and you do not heal yourself:
- A map will appear and you must choose a lodge, tent or campsite where you will respawn.
- You will require camp supplies when choosing a tent or campsite.
- You will not be able to use the normal fast traveling for another 30 minutes after you have retired when hurt.
- You can however always retire when hurt, even if you fast traveled within the last 30 minutes.
- When you cross the border and do not return before the warning timer has run out:
- A map will appear and you must choose a lodge, tent or campsite where you will respawn.
- You will require camp supplies when choosing a tent or campsite.
- You will not be able to use the normal fast traveling for another 30 minutes after you have retired when crossing the border.
- You can however always retire when crossing the border, even if you fast traveled within the last 30 minutes.
- When the day ends at 19:00 hours.
