Welcome to theHunter Classic

theHunter is a free to play PC game that recreates hunting wild animals in an open world area called Evergreen Hunting Reserve. theHunter is developed by Expansive Worlds.

First create a character on the game's website which is explained in the Getting Started guide. In order to understand the game better it is recommended to play through the Tutorials and start some Missions. Many tournaments are running at all times. Sign up and you might win a prize or Em$.

The gameplay revolves around tracking and harvesting (killing) animals. Animal tracks can be found and identified with the Huntermate. It identifies tracks or sound signals like calls. Increase your Skills to become a better hunter over time. Play in single player mode or in multiplayer mode. Up to eight players can share a game and enjoy hunting as a team.

Engage a dog to accompany you and provide useful help during your outings. Additional equipment such as suitable Weapons, Clothing, Hunting Stands and much more can be found in the Store. Enjoy the game and Happy Hunting!
