Many missions are available for specific animals, reserves or weapons. The missions are an additional motivation boost and are fun to complete. Every mission pack usually starts easy and gets more difficult towards the end. The mission packs below are available permanently. The hunter can earn Gm$ by completing missions.
Event related missions can also become available for a short time, e.g. a mission was available with the release of Dogs. Such event driven missions also award trophies in addition to the Gm$. Once these missions disappear they can no longer be activated.
Activating Missions
To activate a mission go to MISSIONS. For a full walk-through on how to activate missions see Activate Missions. Missions cannot be deactivated.
Resetting Missions
The missions can only be completed once. If you wish to repeat them, you can reset all missions. The according service must be purchased in the store as you will again earn the Gm$ for all completed missions.
Help with Missions
If you need help with any of these missions, just ask for help in the Forum. You can also find hints to some of the missions on this page. All travel missions for example show maps with the locations to go to.
All you need to do is find three tracks from the same Whitetail Deer. Once you find one track, just follow the clues on your HunterMate, and the other two tracks should be fairly easy to find.
Find a Whitetail Deer and look at it through your Binoculars or rifle scope. Wait until an outline appears around the deer. An animal info box will appear in the upper right corner and you have successfully spotted the deer.
This mission requires you to spot a buck first. If you spotted a doe before, it won't count even if you spot it again when task 1 completes. It must be a doe after the buck that you haven't yet spotted.
Since this mission is attached to the previous mission, it should be pretty simple to shoot one of the Whitetail Deer that you have spotted in the herd from your tower. Make sure to activate the mission before harvesting one of the deer.
Big Rack
Harvest a Whitetail Deer with at least 12 typical points.
1000
Find and shoot a Whitetail Deer with at least 12 points. This means that there are at least 6 points on each side.
Big Score
Harvest a male Whitetail Deer with a score of 150 or more.
1300
This will usually require 12 points and up to complete.
Big Rack, up close!
Harvest a Whitetail Deer buck with at least 12 typical points using a Shotgun with Buckshot ammo.
1600
Lure the buck towards you and shoot it from within 20-30m.
Take a Mule Deer buck from at least 47.52m (approx. 150ft.)
200
More Points
Harvest a Mule Deer buck with at least 6 typical points.
300
8 points means the buck has a least 4 points on each of its antlers.
Big Haul
Harvest a Mule Deer buck weighing at least 91Kg (approx. 200lbs).
Harvest a Mule Deer buck weighing at least 91Kg (approx. 200lbs).
Harvest a Mule Deer buck weighing at least 91Kg (approx. 200lbs).
400
Extreme Range
Take a Mule Deer buck from 137.16m (approx. 450ft.) or more.
500
There are many open meadows that provide more than enough distance to shoot 137m.
Even Closer
Take a Mule Deer buck, from 18.29m (approx. 60ft.) or less.
600
To get this close to a deer, just stay in a prone position, don't make any sudden movements, and try to call the deer in.
Points o'Plenty
Harvest a Mule Deer buck with at least 10 typical points.
800
10 points means the buck has at least 5 points on each side of its rack. Sometimes a 10 point buck is a monster, so it may be hard to shoot, but there are some fairly small bucks that don't spook as easily, which are also 10 pointers.

Harvest another Blacktail Deer in Red Feather Falls during the same hunt.
1800
Prepare for a long hunt. It is best to start early in the day. As you can see on the animal map for blacktail deer at Redfeather Falls, they predominantly roam the north of the map. Consider running north, or starting at a tent in the north, or fast traveling to the campsite in the north.
If you choose to use guns, you will only be able to take out one or two deer for each herd you find. The others will flee and you will have to track them down again or move on hoping for other herds or single roamers. It is a better choice to use a silent weapons, i.e. a bow or crossbow. If you manage to drop them on the spot from +25m, you can take multiple animals at a time. Even if a shot is bad and the rest of the bunch spooks, at least you are not spooking other animals in the vicinity with gunfire.
Harvest another Sitka Deer with a shot to the heart.

Blood Moon Rising
Harvest the Sitka Deer, “Wendigo” with a shotgun loaded with slugs in the northern forests of Whiterime Ridge near the frozen waterfall (X: -4167, Y: -11501).

200
Out of Nowhere
Harvest an unspooked male Moose from less than 25m.
300
Use the Moose Caller to lure the moose close. Moose are not easily scared.
Sweet Sixteen
Harvest a male Moose with at least 16 typical points using Slug.
400
16 points means that the palm on each side needs 8 points. This is usually a decent score. Use the wide and open areas of Whiterime Ridge to spot the moose easier.
Road Kill
Track down and harvest the trespassing male Moose, last seen on the road, just east of the bridge (X: -10.430 Y: -2.513).
600
The moose spawns at the given coordinates (see map) and moves around like any animal. The mission can be completed easier when placing a tent near these coordinates and get to the location as quickly as possible.
There is no rush to shoot 3 moose in quick suggestion. The mission does not require you to shoot, but to harvest them within 15 minutes. Don't start with the harvesting before you have shot the third moose.
Harvest the angry blond Black Bear in the northwest corner (x: -12614, y: -6282).
3600
The bear is a specific one that only spawns in the given location when this mission is active. It is found in the very far north of Redfeather Falls. As in any other mission that requires a certain animal, the bear will spawn and roam around. Consider placing a tent nearby, so you should find its tracks soon enough. The location where you end up shooting the bear does not matter as long as you harvest the correct blonde black bear

Majesty at Best
Locate 3 Grizzly Bear tracks from the same animal.
Harvest the Dark Wild Boar near the southern Hunting Tower in Hirschfelden (X:8711, Y:1487).
3600
The hog will spawn and move around, so get to the site as soon as you can. The easiest is if you place a tent nearby and start your session there. The tower at these coordinates can be found here:
Harvest another Feral Hog in the Three Lakes area in the north of Logger's Point during the same hunt.
300
You can complete this mission with any hog you find. Roam the area until you find clues or hear a call. Then lure them to the middle (small) lake. Feral Hogs tend to come in packs. A fast reloading strong rifle such as the .30-06 Lever Action Rifle will facilitate the task as it allows for multiple shots in quick succession. You can however just shoot one and then lure the others back. Make sure to complete both harvests in the same hunt.
Electric Lady Land
Harvest a Feral Hog from the pack raiding the Powerstation.
Harvest a Feral Hog from the pack raiding the Powerstation.
400
This mission will trigger the spawning of a pack of feral hogs near the electric station in the south-east end of Logger's Point. To complete the mission, two animals from this group must be harvested. Make sure to arrive there quickly after the start. The easiest is to set up a
near the station and start your hunt there. Follow the tracks near the station until you catch up with the pigs, and harvest two of them. Harvesting other pigs that were not part of the mission group will not count, even if you harvest them near the station.
Harvest the male Bison "Buffalo Bill" last seen at the "Windy Hill" (X: -6464, Y: -10096) using any permitted revolver without a scope.
3600
This is a very particular bison that spawns at the given coordinates. It is recommended to either move there very quickly, or start at a tent nearby. Pick up the tracks and follow the bull. If the mission does not complete shoot others or start over.
It is only required to shoot one bear to complete this mission. After you kill the first bear a message appears:
Hey, stop what you are doing! Don’t kill any bears! This is General Major Petersen, president of the EHRCA, speaking. Rodriguez escaped the institution and once again planned to take out all things ursine. You report at my office as soon as you can. This thing is not over yet.
Taking Down the Bearkiller Goat
Harvest the last Bearkiller Alpine Ibex using 7 mm ammunition at the Devil's Teapot in Val-des-Bois (X: 3078, Y: -2169).
Harvest an unspooked Red Kangaroo scoring at least 75 with a single shot at a distance of at least 75 meters with any scoped Anchütz rifle.
Harvest another unspooked Red Kangaroo scoring at least 75 with a single at a distance of at least 75 meters with any scoped Anchütz rifle weapon during the same hunt.
The big dog actually isn't that big of a male Coyote. He spawns around the Awi'Usdi Stones and starts roaming the area like any other animal.
It may help if you place a tent near the location in order to get there quickly. Walk to the stones, listen for calls and look for tracks on the ground. There can be other coyotes in the same area. If you are using a hunting stand, you can take out multiple coyotes with a silent weapon (e.g. a Bow or Crossbow), which increases you chances for finding the "big dog".
Possible location: Southern island, there is an open field just north of the narrow part. Mount a treestand and call. When a bobcat appears, spot it. Then shoot it, but read its tracks first to complete the mission. Do not harvest it yet.
Once at Riverhead Landing, harvest an unspooked Bobcat with a score of 8 or lower in Rougarou Bayou.
Once at Riverhead Landing, harvest an unspooked Bobcat with a score of 8 or higher in Rougarou Bayou.
1200
Avoid the swamps. There are less cats and stalking is more difficult.
Run, Bobcat, Run!
Harvest a male Bobcat with a score of 8 or higher at 100% Harvest Value while it's fleeing.
1800
Use the middle tower of Logger's Point. Call a bobcat in. You can shoot it fleeing in all directions from there. Use the .243 Bolt Action Rifle. Slightly lead the shot.
The El Bobogato Ceremony
Harvest two Bobcats within 5 minutes of each harvest.
3600
Do not collect the first shot bobcat but rather wait until you have shot a second. Then harvest both within 5 minutes.
The required Pheasants are specific ones that only spawn in the given location when this mission is active. The birds will spawn under the bridge and roam around. Consider placing a tent nearby, so you should find its tracks soon enough. The location where you end up shooting the Pheasants does not matter as long as you harvest the ones that originated in the canyon.
Go to the Three Lakes area on Logger's Point and investigate how the war between Cottontail Rabbits and Coyotes is going. Check out some strange reports coming out of somewhere close to these coordinates: X: -9511; Y: 5756.

All Roe Deer must be shot in one hunt, and they must be shot in the order they appear in the mission objectives. The mission can best be completed by bringing a tent to the hunt. If you decide to complete the mission by walking around, equip two to three of the weapons in addition to the tent. After completing the tasks with the weapons in your inventory, deploy the tent and switch to the next set of weapons, according to the order they are required. Remember to dismantle the tent and then move on looking for the next deer. Alternatively a tower or stand can be used in combination with the roe deer caller and/or roe deer scent spray. Again place a tent nearby so you can equip yourself with the next weapon required.
Once you have detected a Red Fox, call it near you and wait for it while in prone. You will hear its footsteps. Try to locate where it is approaching you from before aiming. Once you are aiming the sector within which you can aim left and right is limited. Repositioning and aiming again will take rather long and certainly spook the fox that has come very close.
This video shows how this can be done, although to complete the mission your shot will have to be within 20m.
Harvest Red Deer from under 30.48 m (approx. 100 ft) with a Recurve Bow Modern weighing at least 215.456 kg (approx. 475 lbs) and bringing in a score of at least 220 points. Stands, blinds and towers are not allowed.
Head straight north towards the treestand that is there.
There will be a high likelyhood that you will find a moose before you even reach the treestand,
I found a moose 3 out of 4 times before reaching the treestand, so it should be releatively easy.
Call the moose near the treestand or use scent lure, and kill it with a shot to the heart/spine or whatever will make it drop on the spot. Beware of brain shots though.
Harvest a Blacktail Deer buck scoring more than 135 using the Heavy Recurve Bow Modern. Other organs may be hit, but the heart must be the hit with the killing shot.
